Conference 2005 “Lift Your Horizons”
The inaugural conference of HCPNZ was held in Auckland at the Sky Tower from 8 – 10 August, 2005. This was an excellent venue that provided everything we need to have a successful conference.
The theme of the conference, “Lift Your Horizons: 2011 and Beyond” was focused on the short term future, i.e., the next two electoral cycles, and the long term future up to 2025.
As a country we know that the aging population is getting larger and the demands for care becoming more complex and resource intensive. That is why the sector needs to model the impact of these changes and see how they may affect service delivery across the country.
